I love to share arts, crafts, DIY projects, nature activities and seasonal celebration ideas for kids (and the young at heart). We believe in the wonder of childhood, the power of imagination, learning through play, getting outside in all seasons, and co-creating a life you love--one rhythm at a time!

Hey there, Regardless of where you live, this time of year offers numerous opportunities to connect with the Earth's cycles through creativity and play. Whether you’re watching autumn leaves fall in the Northern Hemisphere or welcoming the first blooms of spring in the Southern Hemisphere, November invites us to pause and notice the shifting rhythms of nature. For those in the North, November marks the deepening of autumn — a time for gratitude, reflection, and cozy indoor projects. Paint with the colors of autumn with the collection of fall art activities here: Fall Art Projects, Crafts, and Painting Ideas. In the South, the world is bursting with life. Celebrate this renewal with Flower Arts and Crafts. Wherever you are, seasonal arts and crafts can help children feel connected to nature throughout the year's rhythm. Not only do these fall and spring art activities help children appreciate the beauty of seasonal change, but they also allow them to express themselves creatively. Best of all, most of the seasonal projects also make a great complement to science lessons, such as those on weather or botany. For example, you can paint flowers for a botany unit in the spring, or leaves for a botany unit in the fall. Wishing you a joyful, creative November — filled with beautiful colors, gratitude, and wonder! Warmly,
P.S. Those of you with access and members of the Rhythms of PLAY CLUB will find a collection of printable art templates you can use for some of the spring or fall art projects in the Rhythms of Play Learning Center. |
