🌎 Earth Day Activities and Crafts ❀️

Happy Earth Week! 🌎🌍🌏

Traditionally celebrated on April 22 to raise awareness about the health and preservation of our planet, Earth Day is a great time to celebrate the natural world and reflect on how the everyday choices we make and actions we take can affect the environment.

In modern times, many people choose to make their Earth Day celebrations a weeklong or even monthlong call to awareness and action to help make these positive changes a habit.

But you can choose to celebrate Earth Day every day with simple actions. There are several simple ways you can help care for the earth and reduce climate change.

Visit the link above to discover simple things you can do to educate yourself, help promote awareness in your community, and inform children, the leaders of tomorrow, about simple ways they can help make the world a better place to live.

Even the tiniest drop in the bucket counts. "A bucket would never be full if not for each drop." ~NRK

Consider making an Earth Day Pledge using the examples provided-->HERE.

The included Earth Day pledge examples and ideas can help you and your children (or students), family, friends, co-workers, or community make small changes that will make a big impact over time.

Especially if these simple everyday actions become lifelong habits.

You might also enjoy learning more about Earth Day and a few simple lesson ideas. Activities include fun Earth Day activities to help promote awareness at home or in the classroom.

Ideas also include several types of crafts you can make for Earth Day.

My favorites are recycled planet Earth crafts, especially those that can be reused, like melted old blue and green crayons shaped like the Earth. But there are a few other creative options to enjoy as well.

Members of the PLAY CLUB and those with prior access to any of our Earth Day Printables in the Rhythms of Play Learning Center can find them in their personal product dashboards.

That's all for now,
