🐣 New Easter Printables and More! 🐰

Hey Reader,

Easter is the perfect time to get creative. Make lasting memories with these fun arts, crafts, and activities!

Because our daughter is an only child, my husband and I create an Easter Scavenger Hunt for her each year.

But this year, we won't need to burn the midnight oil writing each clue, because we're going to use the NEW printable set I finally made!

Can you say woo-hoo!?

Go ahead and whoop it up. I sure did once I finished creating it.

My husband has no idea why it took me so long to put it in printable format. Creating it makes it easier on all of us.

After all, we have been putting together these Easter Scavenger Hunts since our daughter was 3 years old, and she's 13 this year.

Better late than never, I always say!

Best of all, putting it in printable format makes it possible to share it with YOU!

As a reminder, PLAY CLUB members can find these NEW Easter Printables in their product dashboard after logging in.

Of course, our daughter also enjoys a traditional egg hunt, often multiple times, but on Easter morning, she wakes to the start of a scavenger hunt.

The night before Easter, she leaves a carrot out for the Easter bunny, just as my brothers and I did as children.

However, instead of waking to find a shared Easter basket in its place. She wakes to a half-eaten carrot and an egg with a rhyming clue inside that leads to the location of the next hidden egg and clue.

Sometimes the clue is sitting in an egg in an Easter Basket with candy for the whole family to share.

Other times, the clue sits in an egg alone on the table, looking barren and lonely, but it leads to a treasure trove of treats that await her as she unravels each hidden clue.

Each year is a different surprise!

Before you know it, she is off looking for the next egg until she reaches the final prize at the end of the hunt.

Learn more about this creative twist on a traditional egg hunt and grab the printable rhyming clues in the Rhythms of Play Learning Center.

My husband and I have spent the night before Easter for the last 9 years staying up late creating these hunts, but with the New printable rhyming clues, now you can host one too. As I said, woo-hoo!

Creating Easter arts and crafts is another excellent way for kids and adults to unplug and enjoy hands-on fun.

Whether you're decorating an Easter Tree, making adorable bunny crafts, or creating surprise Easter Egg Art, these activities are a fantastic way to:

  • Encourage creativity and self-expression.
  • Bond with family and friends.
  • Bring the joy of spring into your home.
  • Boost mindfulness and reduce stress.

Look through these Easter arts, crafts, and painting ideas for even more fun, creative projects of all ages and skill levels.

Or check out this list of fun family Easter traditions for several other creative activities you can do on or before Easter.

Ideas include secular and religious family traditions you can use to make your celebrations more meaningful or eco-friendly, such as creating DIY Easter Baskets from recycled materials.

Another great idea is decorating wooden Easter Eggs that become treasured heirlooms to be passed down through the generations.

My family has made quite a few sets of these beauties over the years, and each one is as cherished as the next.

Unlike traditional hard-boiled eggs, wooden eggs are reusable year after year, making them an excellent choice for reducing waste. They even come in white to look like hard-boiled eggs!

Their smooth, sturdy surface is perfect for several decorating techniques, including painting, coloring, and woodburning.

Enjoy your celebrations, whatever you do (or choose not to do)!

With love and tree hugs,
